Facco's project narrated among the pages of Flières Avicoles

Last summer, Facco was protagonist of the realization of an important project in France which saw the installation of our Libera Deck system (www.facco.net/en/prodotti/sistemialternativicagefree/72.html).
At the inauguration took part a journalist from Filieres Avicoles, the French reference magazine of French aviculture, who talked about the birth and development of the project in an article published in this month's issue.
Here is a short extract from the article that is now available in the latest issue of the magazine (you can find the complete article in the attachments). Congratulations to Facco’s team that collaborated with commitment and dedication in the development of this project that we can proudly read about among these lines.

"Son of breeders, Arnaud Conan decided to leave his native Bretagne in order to start his first breeding activity. 21 years and 11 sheds later, its business continues to grow with the acquisition of two former turkey farms that have been completely renovated to house laying hens. The project was born on the initiative of the LDC group, a leading company in Europe in the production and marketing of poultry products, and with which Arnaud Conan has been collaborating for years on his turkey farms.

The project with Facco makes the most of the existing structure while maintaining a high standard of quality and efficiency. The breeding site is divided into two 15x80 meter sheds, for a total of about 35,000 hens.

The three tiers system is organized in two rows divided into three sectors and the layout of the aviary varies according to the type of production. For the code 2 plant, the farmer opted for a central corridor that facilitates the inspection of the nest, while for the code 1 plant he preferred a "face to face" arrangement to encourage the animals to go outside. Thanks to its open structure, the Libera Deck aviary allows you to optimize the horizontal and vertical movement of the hens within the system, while preserving accessibility.

"I have been able to create a work tool that is both efficient and comfortable for my employees. I haven’t lost myself in the superfluous because my priority is investing in people, which is the real key to success when working with living beings", says the farmer with satisfaction.

The article also contains an interview with President Massimo Finco. Almost 28 years after realizing the first project for Arnaud Conan's parents, it is with great enthusiasm that Facco returns to France to inaugurate the new breeding site for his son. "It is a real pleasure to see how the projects of this family grows and how their passion is transmitted over time because this is exactly how Facco approaches its development".
