WORLD EGG DAY 2025
Every year, on the second Friday of October, World Egg Day is celebrated and, as is tradition, enthusiasts and professionals from all over the world come together to promote the extraordinary properties of this food.
Once again this year, Officine Facco is renewing its commitment to local primary schools, offering a training course dedicated to eggs and the welfare of hens.The company emphasises that this anniversary is not only a time for celebration, but also an opportunity to promote knowledge and awareness. On these occasions, the management highlights the importance of going beyond the company's boundaries to share its knowledge with the community and contribute to the nutritional education of children.
The initiative was enthusiastically welcomed by the schools involved, thanks also to the collaboration of the teachers who made the meeting with the pupils possible.
Once again this year, Facco returned to the primary school near its headquarters, where children from various classes took part in games, tests and in-depth studies dedicated to the world of chickens and eggs: from the structures built by Facco for farms, to feeding and egg collection methods, to a journey through cultures and customs that highlight the variety of consumption and types of eggs around the world.
Eggs, a staple food in all cuisines and on every continent, remain a symbol of conviviality and unity.
In addition to their culinary appeal, they are the most accessible and sustainable source of animal protein, strengthening the link between healthy eating and protecting the planet.
This project, launched by Officine Facco with the aim of raising awareness among young people, aims to consolidate itself over time and expand to other schools in the area.
